Happy Pub Week Joy! This made me weep (I know you are forbidden from using that word too much, but I’m gonna use it anyway!) and moved me just as much, if not more, than any wedding I’ve attended. Seeing Anis guiding you to the "altar" (ha!) with a warm smile gave me some comfort for you and your nerves in that moment. I'm buzzing knowing that your sweet and stingy honey is out into the world.
Been waiting for months and months for your gorgeous collection to arrive at my door. And of course, it’s swept me away in the most beautiful way. I have only stopped to catch my breath as to not miss the little holy moments between words. I’m from/ moved away 10 years ago from the place you have fought so hard to call home now, and have such a tender place in my heart for Portland (and as a kid raised evangelical/ends times prepper your words are so nostalgic&relatable and give language to the bizarre world I had to navigate as a child and still carry with me in some ways but was never able to pin down in words.)
